A Cultural Miscellany

We meet: 2nd Thu 14:00-16:00 at St John's Church hall

This is a small discussion group that covers a wide range of subjects from contemporary culture to fine arts. The range of topics to include political items and popular culture. Each topic is introduced briefly by one of the members and then thrown open for discussion. We all learn by examining the unfamiliar as well as the familiar.

History or Art (mornings and Afternoons)

We meet: 3rd Thu 10:00 - 11:30 and 1st Thu 14:00 - 15:30 at On-line

This is a discussion group that looks at works of art from a number of different points of view. The aim to see if a different approach can shed new light on the works and the way we appreciate them.
